The Qamar Set — Egyptian Perfume Bottles in Four Moon Phases, Set of Four
Qamar is the moon — and these are its phases: four etched glass orbs in mint, sky blue, violet and amber, each cut with a wheat garland, ringed in gold, and crowned with a flame stopper.
This is the heart of the Attar Collection: the traditional Egyptian perfume vessel, made the way this workshop has made it since 1985 — blown, cut, gilded and assembled entirely by hand.
— Mouth-blown borosilicate glass with hand-cut etching — Fired gold rings and feet; hand-drawn flame stoppers with dipping rods — Four colourways, approx. 15–17 cm each — For attar and perfume oils, or as sculpture — Made in our Cairo atelier, est. 1985
