Care Guide
CARE GUIDE
The care of light
Hand-blown glass and 24K gold ask for very little — only that little, faithfully
i Washing
By hand only, in lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft cloth. Rinse and let the piece air-dry on a towel, mouth down.
ii The gold
The 24K finish is applied by hand and fired. It should never be scrubbed or polished — a soft, dry cloth is all it asks. Keep it away from abrasives and harsh detergents.
iii Temperature
Glass remembers shock. Avoid sudden changes — never pour hot liquid into a cold piece, and keep candles from burning to the very base of a holder.
iv Fragrance
Before first use, rinse a perfume bottle and let it dry completely. Wipe the stopper's neck after filling so it seats cleanly.
v Display
Place away from the edges of shelves and out of direct, prolonged sunlight. Dust with a dry cloth — glass kept in the light stays alive.
NEVER
No dishwashers. No abrasive sponges. No metal polish on the gold. No freezing or direct flame against the glass. These few refusals are the whole discipline.
