Because it was made by a person, not a machine. Subtle variations in curve, thickness and gold application are the signature of hand-blown glass — they are what distinguish an atelier piece from a factory one. We consider them part of the work.

Wash gently by hand in lukewarm water with a soft cloth. Avoid dishwashers, abrasive sponges and sudden temperature changes. The 24K gold finish should never be scrubbed — a soft, dry cloth is all it asks.

Yes. Our bottles are crafted in borosilicate glass, suitable for perfume and fragrance oils. We recommend rinsing and drying fully before first use.

Each piece is individually wrapped and suspended in protective packaging designed for hand-blown glass. In the rare event a piece arrives damaged, photograph it within 48 hours of delivery and write to us — we will replace it.
